| My best friend from Ontario called and told me her plans to visit me here in Tampa Metro. So when she finally confirmed, I immediately planned a Tampa road trip with her. Upon arrival, she told me how she loved Tampa weather so much. It was a perfect day, not too hold or too cold, meaning it's the perfect time to hit the road. We first went to Morris Bridge Park. This place is a perfect biking spot. Since the weather was perfect, I thought it was also a great time to stay outdoors. You get a nice view of the Hillsborough River while pedaling. The rows of cypress trees are lovely and provide shade from the sun. The park is so quiet and peaceful that you can hear the faint sound of the Hillsborough River water. Then we went to Busch Gardens, just a 10 minute drive away from Morris Bridge Park. It's one of the best amusement parks in Tampa with lots of great rides. Since my best friend and I are both adventure seekers, we tried the SheiKra, a daredevil coaster. We also tried other rides such as the Griffon and Tanganyika Tidal Wave. Our night Tampa destination was Tampa Pitcher show. You hit two birds with one stone when you go to Pitcher Show. Dinner while watching a movie is the thing at Pitcher Show. I ate Chicken Tenders while she had New York Strip Steak. The Rocky Horror Picture Show was great as well. |
